5. Purchases of templates and digital products
The site offers data protection templates and other digital products for purchase ("Products"). The following terms apply to any purchase you make through the site.
5.1 Order and contract formation. When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the Product at the listed price. A contract is formed only when we send you confirmation that your order has been accepted and the Product has been made available to you. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and, unless stated otherwise, are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
5.2 Delivery. Products are delivered electronically. Following successful payment, you will receive access to download the Product via the email address provided at checkout. You are responsible for ensuring this address is correct and that you can receive emails from us.
5.3 Licence to use. On purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to use the Product for your own internal business or personal purposes, including adapting it for use within your own organisation. You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, or make the Product (or any substantially similar derivative) available to third parties, whether for payment or free of charge. All intellectual property rights in the Product remain with Tygo Consulting Ltd.
5.4 Refunds and consumer rights. Because Products are digital content delivered immediately on purchase, by completing your order you expressly consent to immediate access and acknowledge that this means you lose the statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Refunds are not available once a Product has been downloaded or accessed, except where the Product is faulty or materially does not conform to its description, in which case your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply.
5.5 Nature of the Products. Our templates are general-purpose tools intended to support your own data protection work. They are not legal advice, are not tailored to your specific circumstances, and do not create a consultant–client relationship between you and Tygo Consulting Ltd. You are responsible for reviewing, adapting, and validating any template before use, and for taking independent professional advice where appropriate.
5.6 Liability for Products. Our liability in connection with any Product is limited as set out in section 8 below. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
6. Disclaimers
All content is general information only and should not be relied upon as legal or professional advice. You must seek tailored advice from a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
We do not guarantee that content on the site is up-to-date, complete, or accurate.
The site may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content or services of these external sites.
7. Use of AI tools
We use generative AI tools to support the drafting and preparation of our content, templates, and other written work product. AI is used as a productivity aid only and does not replace the professional judgment that underpins our work. All material published on the site or sold as a Product is reviewed and approved by a qualified Tygo consultant before publication or release, and Tygo Consulting Ltd remains responsible for the output.
8. Limitation of liability
We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from the use of this site or any Products purchased through it, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential.
We are not responsible for business losses or interruptions. We are not liable for loss of profits, sales, business or revenue; business interruption; loss of data; loss of business opportunity; or any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
Subject to the terms above, and except in respect of paid Products, our total liability will not exceed £200. In respect of any Product purchased through the site, our total liability in connection with that Product will not exceed the price you paid for it.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
9. No guarantees
We do not make any guarantees regarding outcomes or results from using this site, the Products, or any associated services.
10. Governing law
